In line with enhancing safety levels and supplying high-quality products in the elevator industry, Owjresan Tabriz, in cooperation with Sahand Faraz Imen Sanat, has successfully designed and manufactured single-direction and bi-directional elevator safety gears under the Faraz Sahand brand, obtaining the Iranian National Standard mark for the first time in the history of Iran’s elevator industry.
The safety gear (parachute) is a critical component of elevator safety systems and is installed on the upper or lower cabin yoke based on engineering designs (using software such as Lift Designer). This system includes two jaws that are activated by the governor in case of excessive speed, engaging with the guide rails to safely stop the cabin with minimal slip.
Currently, Faraz Sahand safety gears are offered in two new series, ECO and TESLA, both available in single-direction and bi-directional models. These products are designed for T9 and T16 guide rails and various load capacities. For example:
